I have just received one of those for a 5x2x2 tank:
•SM163 with DC3000 – 900 l/h air, footprint 188 x 188mm

First thing I noticed when I turned it on is that it's very quiet!!!!
I have it in a tank that is waiting for some 80Kg of live rock and the skimmer body is a solid mass of fine bubbles.
So far, I couldn't be happier!

Hi just wondering if you will be getting any of the the skimz fluidized reactors?

Yep got the kone sk181. Seems like a cracker of a skimmer. Have not figured out tuning yet to get water level right unless I completley restrict intake but I know once sorted it will crank. The fat body of bubbles in this huge cone pushing up will be awsome once tuned.

If it's still new the level will rise slowly and soon you won't need to completely restrict. Just make sure it's sitting in the correct level of water, my SDC750 hates having the output submerged.

I have noticed it better with sump at maximum water level of its reccomended water level. I am very happy with it compared to my old skimmer
