Layby Available for Equipment

Postby 100% Reef Safe » Thu 08 Dec, 2011 12:02 pm

Have you ever wanted something for your tank but can't afford to pay for it in one go? Well we are proud to announce that if you want to purchase a product from us but need a bit of time to pay it off, 3 months maximum, then we have that available for you

With just a 20% deposit and regular payments (via mutual arrangement) you can own that bit of equipment you always wanted.

Any questions feel free to ask.

Cheers
Pete

Now that would corner the market Pete - finance company shoulders the risk yet you get pd and make the sale irrespective. ;)

In England everything u get on lay by is called finance. And u get to take the item home.
What they do is use a credit company that signed u to a contract that takes a fixed amount out ur account every month till its paid off.
Good thing about this is u get the item. And u have to pay regardless if u can afford it. As its a binding contract and comes out ur account automatically.

Would be great if oz companies did this. I've done this a lot in the past and it's a big help as u have the item when u actually need it :-D they go as little as a £100 item on finance :-D

Lay-by and finance are two separate concepts. You get finance here but as is the case in the UK, it is generally on more expensive items (computers, furniture, home appliance.. etc). Lay-by is generally used for less expensive items where finance would really work as the companies wouldn't make any money off the interest made.

Not sure I understand advantage here? Better to put money into online saver account.
Unless putting deposit down early, starts the import process sooner, avoiding waiting after paid in full.

Why not just layby it as per what Pete has offered if not go and get your own loan elsewhere and buy it outright, I didn't see him offerring to finance peoples purchases or stuff around organising finance for people :poke:
