1) How Long have you been in the hobby

It all started over 20 years ago when I got sick of my gold fish swimming around the little 2 foot tank I had, so I evicted him to set up my first marine tank. The tank consisted of an under-gravel filter, a tomato clown, a blue damsel and some fake corals. Since then my knowledge slowly increased as did my tank sizes with the current tank being the fourth in the line of larger set up's.

2a) What size is your winning tank, dimensions and litres?

1000x1000x500 roughly 500 litres including sump.

2b) Any reasons for that size tank?

I wanted something with a large footprint that I could view from the top.

2c) How long has this tank been setup?

Around 8 and a half months.

3) Anything you want to say about your stand?

DIY, timber stand with removable laminated panels. around 800 high

About two months ago I got a bad batch of salt water which really threw a spanner in the works and I lost a lot of corals that I had had for quite a while. The tank is still a long way away from its former glory but is slowly getting there.
Of course it goes without saying that RTAW and MASQ have been a awesome tool that has helped me along the way and a big thanks to all the members who have helped me out over the years.
