Looking good Ribbon. I hope we never have to take them out of the tank, they'd weigh a ton.

1 or 2 mls each of Seachem Reef calcium, carbonate, iodine twice a week
siphon out and replace substrate once every 2 months

Thought i would bring up the old thread with a photo of my own tank. I am pulling down this tank next week to move to my girlfriends to be converted to a seahorse tank. Not a bad price to pay for being allowed to buy a 4x18x2 tank to replace it ;) ;) Will be doing a tank journal on both tanks shortly. Keep the photos coming along everyone :wavey:

How do you go with your calcium & Ph in such a small tank with the acros & clam?

really quite good. i add just seachem reef buffer and calcium advantage and find this works. i test the levels once a week usually and find they both stay quite stabe.

Can someone explain why I can only see some pictures of tanks....like AaronJ's, but no others? Is it my computer set-up? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

This thread is very old - maybe the pics you can't see simply don't exist any more?

Try starting from the last page and working backwards...

The first tank is 6x2x2.5 in wall with 2x400w Hamilton bulbs 14000k Metal Halide 1 right hand side one in the centre 2x 4 ft Marine Blue Flouros.
Second tank 5x2x2 starfire with curved front AquaOne MG 1500 (3x150w and 6x power compacts) its not as blue as it looks in the photo.

Bulbs are the original that came with the pendant, 10000k i believe.

Ahk, Do you see much difference in growth between the 400 watt mh and the 150 watt mh?

I like your cave structures atty, did you use some type of putty / epoxy to stick them together?
