Hi Lee,
I noticed your running an Aqua One tank there with quite a few corals... Have you upgraded your lighting or are they coral that are happy with fluros? I ask because I am running the an Aqua One UFO corner tank with fluros and i'd love to keep coral that look like yours!

OLD SYSTEM: 6x2x2 Foot tank, 1 x 250 Watt MH, 2 x 150Watt MH's, Aquac EV-180 Skimmer, Osmolator, Tunze 6100, Closed Loop, Bare bottom (tank, not me), 6" Sand Bed. Corals and Fish.

CURRENT SYSTEM: Aquaone Windsor 88 (330l) corner tank, drilled with sump. 1 x 250W Pendant, Marine Sources Conical Skimmer, Reef tank

Still doing the SPS thing, I am planning a 1600L in wall for our new house :clap: .

Dont hear from Steve much anymore but he does still poke around here a bit I think.

That little purple tenuis was attcked by a type of shrimp that consumed all of its polyps. It succumbed a few weeks later. It is always the nice colonies :nut:

Tank is 4x2x2 10mm side weir, 15cm DSB and approx 65kg Live Rock.
Lighting - Arcadia Series 3 - 2 x 250W 14000k BLV and 2 x 30w Actinic.
(flouro 8.30am to 9.00pm, MH 11.30am to 6.30pm)
Closed Loop circulation using Eheim 1262 and SCWD.
Return pump Eheim 1260.
1200 x 500 x 450mm Sump/Refugium plumbed through the wall to outside cabinet In/Skimmer - Refuge - Return sections divided by baffles.
Refugium 150w Shopfitter 10000k reverse schedule lighting - 15cm DSB, some rock and macro algae.
Berlin XL Classic Skimmer - Eheim 1250.
Korralin 3001 Calcium Reactor.
500w Resun Titanium Heater.
Resun Fluid Bed Filter running Rowaphos.
Using Activated Carbon and Seachem Purigen free flow from skimmer return to refugium.
Teco Chiller RA240.
DIY Auto Top Off - 6.5l daily evaporation.
Instant Ocean Saltwater mix - 60L water change monthly.
SG - 1.025 - pH - 8.2 - Calcium - 420 - Alk 12dkh - Nitrate - <10 - Phosphate 0

Cleanup includes approx 20 Trochus snails, 3 Cucumbers, Lawnmower Blenny, Scopas and Blue Tangs (2 mantis shrimps).

Other livestock 2 Oscellaris Clowns, Orchid Dottyback, Coral Beauty, Mandarin, 4 Chromis, 2 Anenome Crabs 1 pair Banded Coral Shrimp.

Specs of my 35L nano

Running 6 months now

35L glass tank
1cm of substrate
4-5kg of LR
2 powerheads (a 400lph hidden behind /under LR, and a 600lph oscillating one near the water surface)
50w heater
150w 14000k MH bulb - running on a 70w ballast
UPS for powerheads
Will be kept cool in summer by room A/C

Livestock:
1 clown and anemone (+ a second smaller hitch hiking BTA seen under the purple acro)
1 yellow tail damsel
1 coral goby
a couple of snails and a few small crabs

Corals:
various small colonies of
Zoas, mushrooms, Ricordeas
Some Xenia, a sarco, and a leather coral
a purple Acro, and a few small hard corals (fungia, candycane)

Maintenance schedule:
manual top-up with RO water and swipe with magnet cleaner daily,
7.5L (20%) water change twice a week with NSW
1 or 2 mls each of Seachem Reef calcium, carbonate, iodine twice a week
siphon out and replace substrate once every 2 months

What I love about Alf's tank is that there's so much to look at. He's got everything from nice softies to LPS and SPS.

His toadstool is about the size of my tank
