Small update - I finally finished the front side doors today - closing off the rack room should help stabilize the temp.
Doors framed up with aluminium square tube

Now just got to work out what to clad and finish off in

Thanks mate - plodding along - I got a lot to go yet - still got to plumb in a -

New Skimmer, bio reactor, GAC reactor, doser for lanthium and stuff, ozone, and probably a heat pump.

Also Gotta fix up a hybrid light system, one of my led controllers and swap out some t5's.

But things are looking alright non the less. The water changes are going nicely and the calc reactor finaly working ok (albeit bloody hard to keep a steady drip)

Crikey it's been a while between drinks - must have the winter blues because I haven't done much lately. Although I finally found some free time to finish off the front pannels. It took a while to find something suitable and these plastic pannels are light enough to stick on and still given me the look I was chasing.

Excuse the dirty glass and algae :nono:

Thanks mate - panels are light weight bathroom wall panels much the same as corflute in design but plastic of some kind.

bodyboardingbum wrote:Nice work Choppa! Huge difference with the panel and paint.
How are you finding temperature stability, with the past few weeks starting to get colder around here?

Thanks mate - have set temp at 25° - temp hovering at around 24-25 during day with lights only and noticed heaters come on between 1-6am ( 900w of heaters)

Haha cool  but if you saw the state of my sps tank up close you might think differently - i got a weird acro disease that has decimated them - a bit like rtn but different (no idea what though) and all my free time spent on the finish has left the tank neglected. when i get back from holidays im going to have to redoit to get rid of all the algae :pirate:

Lol so close now to automation .... but so far away too
