Nothing new, havent added anything in ages.
Had a bit of an alk swing the other day due to dosing stuff-up, wasnt huge and everything still looks ok.

Have you found anything good lately? Hows your tank?

Bit of an update, I have added a few new things and the frag tank is now underway and should be done early next year.

New skimmer, Vertex alpha 250. great skimmer and its silent which is so much better not hearing the air getting sucked in.
Its been running for about 2 weeks now. I had to build a new sump just to fit it as the old one was to small, Now the topup water is sitting beside the tank which i hate.

I have odered some prodibio produvts off reefsecrets and i am hoping that will help improve color ont the sps and get the brown tinges out of them.
Also there is little bits off algae growth which i hope the prodibio cleans up.
I had some brown algae growth on the glass which i would have to clean every 3-4 days, I have halved my dosing off nacl salts and it has improved so yeah i was overdosing it :konk:

Full tank shot, theres been a bit of growth since last update, bad pic

FT will be 48x31x16 and will be lit by an ATI powermodule 10x54w. I bet this FT will turn out to be an DT.

Should i use two return pumps or one bigger one as the tanks will share the same sump? one return for each tank.

Yeah love it, cant reach the bottom tho. 400w lights do the trick but i think i will get a 250w after the frag tank is up and running just to save a bit of power.

I have ordered 2 new pumps today, an eheim 3000+ for a chiller pump and an eheim 5000+ for the return to the FT. Ive got an eheim 5000+ as a return now and it hasnt missed a beat so seemed like a winner to get another.

A few panels for the new stand, painted at work and built by me, woodwork is not my strong point but i did alright.
