All frags go through the system.

I'd say 2-3 weeks I'll star loading the system up slowly.
The rubble was from an established system so things should be ok

Plus, that rock you got on thursday is having surprisingly little die off. I'm struggling to get an ammonia reading in my cycled tank.

Can't wait till this is started Adrian, I'll have lots of goodies to help load it up.

A MASSIVE thank you to Paul at TheReefShop.com.au for the donation of fantastic beckett skimmer. Paul has been outstanding in his genersosity and support so we should all say thanks by using his online shop for gear, and he's damn cheap!!!

Image

A re-circulating skimmer suited our layout better so I set about modifying it. A big skimmer like this can easily flood a sump full of microbubbles if run open loop.
First attemps found this out fairly quickly.

Image

So I then modified the injector to 20 small holes rather than 4 big ones, set it up closed loop (re-circ) and it works flawlessly!

So if you have any frags you'd like to donate into the system, in the next few days a new thread will be started in the MASOV forum. This will have donations, points, species already available, the lot.

Softies and zoos etc till we get carbon and more live rubble. Bring around 1 or 2 sps frags and we'll see who they go.
