Lewy's Cube Rebuild - PAR readings 30.08.09

The purpose of this forum is to allow people to showcase their tanks, and allow other uses to ask questions on equipment, livestock, methodology etc.
Specifically for Diverse Tanks (Cubes, Squares, Triangular) (Fish Only with Live Rock, Predator Tanks, Temperate Tanks) (non-photosynthetic tanks, Marine Plant/Algae Tanks, Greenhouse Tanks)

Great job Lewy. The system was obviously well planned and everything looks clean. And I agree, excellent choice of fish. :clap:

cheers for that lewy i think im going to have to try it one day...the rock wall will eventually become live rock wont it?
trying to replicate my little nor-west reef...well something similar for now...

The dead rock will become live and hopefully coralline will encrust the other parts. See how it goes.

I am going to have a play around with zoas and mushrooms on the back wall.

Yes there have been a few updates.

I went on holidays and a few things went awry. Resulting in a huge nitrate problem. Which resulted in the loss of a few corals. :furious:

Things are under control now and I just have to pull my finger out and take some more pics.

But might as well update my journal as well.

Michael (Reefinglife) kindly lent me his Quantum meter so I could have an idea of what my lighting was doing.

Next time I plug my laptop into the Profilux I will note down what intensities the white and blues are set to.

As you can see the two anemones are doing great under the LED's. I do not target feed them at all.

Currently mucking around with the Zeovit system to see if I can improve my water quality to try and keep some acros.
