Yeah thats the type I was after, in the very top photo above (not the diy one). I missed the bit where you said you sold it. Did the lobay do a good job at providing a good spread of light?

My frag tank is only 2ft hence I am not after anything too fancy, I thought a lobay fitting might do the job

cheers, Lucy

Lucy,
The low bay didn't have enough spread for my 4ft ( I didn't expected to) it was just a temp solution until my got of my a$$ and made the DIY one,
I would think In your case they should be all right with a 2ft.
Not sure how you go with sourcing a 150W in low bay style,
HTH

Yeah they're hard to find! Nutriflo sells 175w ones though. I've decided to go a 2ft MH/T5 unit from guppys with 2 brackets.

Cheers

Is with sadness that the time had finally come to shut this tank down due to us relocating to our new house.
Its been a big learning experience for me with this tank and i'm sure what I have learn from ruining this tank I'll be able to implement on to my next tank.
To date this tank had been running for just under two years, And what a wonderful, stressful, tearful 24morth is been
I'll leave this TJ tread with some of the most current photos of the tank and its inhabitants .... .
I will move all the Stock in to my new set up ..... 8 footer ;)
PS, Tank is for sale on the classifieds .
Enjoy -Dave

Planning another trip in a few weeks might stay over at Wedge Island for 2 nights...if you are interested I can organise a spot for you. Aslong as you can get over in short notice be fine!

That way you can bring frags for me too lol!

Sorry Dave, I meant the 8 footer not the cube. I knew that was gone.

Looks like hard work! If you dig down another few metres you could use geothermal heating/cooling. ;)

Brad? No Brad's here :poke:
