Set up the Apex this weekend for a test run,
Great little unit, had the webserver up in 30mins.

One thing i found is that it is not easy to program like the GHL. still trying to get my head around it, But they have a great manual.

Who has signed up for Fusion? looks like it is open to test, but only a few a day can get access.

I am an apex fusion beta tester, you can sign up but it's unlikely that you will why an invite , I know many users are asking for access on the Neptune forums

?? You don't need a invite. It's now open , but they are limiting it daily.

open cmd prompt from a pc attached to your network by doing the following
Start > run > cmd

once command prompt is open,

type in

telnet <ip address of your apex"

eg

telnet 192.168.0.100

that will telnet you to the base unit, once in there follow instructions as needed.

Be careful though telnet is a last resort, and has the ability to reset and or brick your apex unit.

I suggest you read through the comprehensive user guide found Here > http://www.neptunesystems.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/Comprehensive-Reference-Manual-.pdf

i can get into dos, but i get to this

c:\users\hp>

when i add telnet 192.168.2.101 it comes up with error message.

anyhow, the amp reading is working, not sure how, i had to move the apex and when i reconnected it started to work when i connected a large pump, so all good

You need to have telnet installed on the machine (its not standard on Home editions) Pro and Ult usually install it by default
Did you search RTAW Reefpedia B4 asking your question?

If they are just float switches and dont need a wiring harness

Yea I ended up getting it but I had to get it from the apex display. ..

Also I have updated the firmware but fusion is saying it's not the latest and there is nothing on my fusion dashboard. ?

Been playing with Fusion, found that you can view other controllers if they load you as view.

pretty cool, but you have to have Fusion.

Got fusion sorted thanks to Aquanet and apex support now is working well.

So good to be able to view and control it outside of my network, also can do it with other peoples Apex would be very handy when your away getting someone else to keep a eye on it.
