Mine would build up enough scum to hinder performance in a day so its still a worthwhile investment in my opinion :)

I have had mine for about four months now, and only cleaned it once. This is the best item I have perchesed for my tank.
So now is the time for you to join the club.
Strongly suggest you get one.

My Vectra failed sometime in the last week after the arm unwound and let moisture into the motor housing.

I dropped into the Aquadepot office and Graeme was more than happy to swap it over for me.

Premium unit, but even more premium aftersales service :thumbsup:

I've had mine for about 4 months, from day dot it has had moisture in the motor housing. I've tried taking it apart and putting vasoline around the seals but I still get moisture build up and what looks like rust coming out from the motor.
