Tank-bred Royal Grammas

Postby BCMI » Tue 21 Jun, 2016 1:15 pm

Hi Everyone,

We're just gotten our first batch of tank-bred Royal Grammas through to the juvenile stage. We've posted some photos of the juveniles on the following site, https://www.facebook.com/CRTAFE.BCMI/posts/1313288418686175. They were about 40 days old in the photos (about 50 days old at the moment). There are also some photos of the eggs and the parent fish.

They've been interesting to culture. Similar in many ways to the orchid dottybacks, but a little more difficult at some stages (especially around metamorphosis and settlement).

Cheers,

The BCMI Team
