Very cool.

Have you raised up any Bangaii fry before?

I'm starting to look at setting up a breeding setup with the intension of breeding bangaii's. Would like to see how yours turn out.

The male ate them sometime today.

At least he held for 1 extra day than last time.

Nope haven't raised them before, last lot of broodstock I had were WC & thus went down hill in teh usual way.

I've gotten better results by fattening the male up for awhile before he starts holding.

Live worms, like the discus breeders use make these little guys go crazy..... and proves once more that they will eat other things than brine (which is a common myth).

The male will hold if his condition is up to it.

How long did it take before you pair started to get it on :)

They look like their pretty decent sized fish much bigger than what my lfs sells.

They started 'getting it on' (you should be carefull the PG-13 police might come after you :poke: ) after about 3 months, allthough the first 6 weeks was just trying to get them weaned onto food as they were not eating once I got them.

Size wise they are about 5cm, I can't say they have grown much since I got them though.
