Make your images a bit larger, so we can see them better.

Nice idea, the composition though, just doesn't seem to gel to me.

The only program i seem to have that compresses pictures is MS office manager, the next size up puts me over the 500kb limit... is there a way around this?

Mihov image resizer is a handy freeware utility if you don't have another resizing program available to you.

Quite handy for batch conversion and resizing of images.

What program are you viewing and editing your images in?

Looked at getting GIMP, free. There is also an extension that you install that will read RAW files.

umm not a whole lot of editing going on... i've only been using MS Office photo manager, there is some software that came with the cam (PMB) but it doesn't seem to have compression function.

As I said, get GIMP. Can't beat the price and it does pretty much all that photoshop does.

Another option is Picasa, again free and it does the majority of things that people want. Also works as a very good way of organising and viewing your photos.
