Image Description

'His Master's Voice' record label, famous for Nipper, the dog, spinning at 33 1/3 rpm.
btw. The record is Chopin's "Polonaises" played by Artur Rubinstein

I like it :)

The reflection around the top half, just outside the label, that ruins it a little.

Yeah, saw that after I had uploaded it :( - funny how my mind just ignored the reflections.

save for the reflection issue, i think its a great shot. the silver nob doesn't seem smooth, however that could be an uploading issue.

maybe next time slow the shutter speed down even more and show further movement.

Might be just reflections in the silver making it look that way, I think.

About the amount of movement, yes, I wondered how much I should let it blur. Wanted to be able to make out Nipper on the label though :)

Yes, there are lots to take into account when you are taking an image, and it is very easy to miss a detail like that.
